About our Rigs

Here at Skin Mechanics Steelworks, we make artworks that also function as suspension rigs. We want the form and design to add to your vision and to expand your rigging capabilities through innovative design. Each rig has multiple cut outs and holes intended for rope and carabiners. All of which are hand sculpted and polished to ensure a smooth surface for your rope, and a polished appearance.

All our rigs are made out of aluminium grade 6061-T6. This grace of aluminium is very strong, corrosion resistant, lightweight, and is of similar grade to carabiners. Similar grade materials won't wear on each other as quickly as stainless steel to aluminium would.
